Love Will Save The Day는 US 뮤지션 휘트니 휴스턴(Whitney Houston, 19630809 ~ 20120211)가 1987년 발표한 두 번째 스튜디오 앨범 <Whitney>에 수록한 곡으로 캐나다 8위, US 9위, 댄스 1위, UK 10위 등을 기록했다. 휘트니가 이곡 전까지 발표한 7곡이 연속으로 1위에 올라 이 곡의 차트 성적에 관심이 많이 있었다.

 

토니 콜란드레오(Toni Colandreo)가 만들고 젤리빈(John "Jellybean" Benitez)이 드럼 프로그래밍과 프로듀서를 맡았다. 젤리빈과 잭 월드맨(Jack Waldman)이 편곡했고 휘트니가 더블링하며 BG보컬을 맡았다. 

 

가사는 힘들 때 사랑이 구원이 될 수 있다고 말하는 것 같다. 어떤 사랑인지 구체적이지 않아 모호하긴 하지만 이런 가사의 노래를 들으면 힘이 될 때가 있다. 개인적인 생각으로는 노래의 제목보다는 "change of heart"과 "there's an answer in your heart"이 중요한 메시지인 것 같다.
