When The Rain Begins To Fall은 마이클 잭슨(Michael Jackson)의 형으로 잘 알려져 있는 저메인 잭슨(Jermaine Jackson)이 1984년 발표한 곡으로 제임스 파고(James Fargo)와 밥 지랄디(Bob Giraldi) 감독의 영화 <Voyage Of The Rock Aliens> O.S.T 주제가다. 미국 54위, 영국 64위에 올랐고 유럽에서 크게 히트했다. 국내에선 원곡보다 번안곡인 서울패밀리의 이제는이 더 크게 히트했다. KBS2 <불후의 명곡 - 번안곡2>에서 태원이 불렀다. 

 

곡은 페기 마치(Peggy March), 마이클 브래들리(Michael Bradley), 스티브 위트맥(Steve Wittmack) 등이 만들었고 잭 화이트(Jack White)가 프로듀서를 맡았다. 영화에 주연으로 출연한 피아 자도라(Pia Zadora)가 함께 불렀다.
