Doctor! Doctor!는 UK 팝밴드 톰슨 트윈즈(Thompson Twins)가 1984년 발표한 4번째 스튜디오 앨범 <Into The Gap>에 수록한 곡으로 UK 3위, 아일랜드 5위, 캐나다 11위, US 11위 등을 기록했다. 국내 라디오에서도 자주 나왔던 것으로 기억한다. 

 

톰 베일리(Tom Bailey, 19540118)를 비롯한 멤버들이 함께 만들고 톰과 알렉스 새드킨(Alex Sadkin)이 프로듀서를 맡았다. 뮤직비디오는 디(Dieter 'Dee' Trattmann)가 감독을 맡았다. 

 

가사는 사랑에 빠진 화자가 상대가 떠나지 않기를 바라는 마음이 질병처럼 이상하게 느끼는 걸 표현한 것 같다. 톰이 참여한 다수의 인터뷰들을 정리하면 다음과 같다. "사랑에 빠진 상태에서 상대와 떨어져 있는 것이 마치 병에 걸린 것처럼 느껴지는 걸 비유한 거예요. 가사는 주로 여성 멤버  알라나 커리(Alannah Currie)가 썼습니다. 그러니까 저희 아버지가 의사인 것과는 상관이 없죠. 우연히 나온 말입니다. 사랑에 힘들어 하는 노래지만 무겁거나 고통스러운 느낌보다는 가볍고 경쾌한 팝아트로 만들고 싶었습니다. 구름에 둘러싸인, 혹은 드라이 아이스로 가득찬 반쯤 신비로운 사랑 노래예요."
