Love Beside Me – Sarah McLachlan / 2014

Love Beside Me는 사라 맥라클란(Sarah McLachlan)이 2014년 발표한 8번째 스튜디오 앨범 <Shine On>에 수록된 곡이다. 사라와 톰 더글라스(Tom Douglas), 매트 모리스(Matt Morris)가 공동으로 만들었고 피에르 마찬드(Pierre Marchand), 밥 록(Bob Rock), 빈센트 존스(Vincent Jones) 등의 프로듀서들이 참여했다. 

앨범 제목에서 보듯이 이혼으로 인한 상처를 치유하기 위해, 긍정적인 분위기로 일신하고자 하는 의도가 보인다. 이 곡도 그런 곡인지는 모르겠지만 어쩐지 이 곡만 놓고 보면 여전히 힘들어 보인다.
