Invincible - Pat Benatar / 1985

 

Invincible은 팻 베네타(Pat Benatar)가 1985년 발표한 6번째 스튜디오 앨범 <Seven The Hard Way>에 수록한 곡으로 미국 10위. 영국 53위 등을 기록했다. 같은 해 개봉된 매튜 로빈스(Matthew Robins) 감독의 <빌리진의 전설(The Legend Of Billie Jean)>의 주제가로 사용되었다.

 

곡은 사이먼 클라이미(Simon Climie)와 홀리 나잇(Holly Knight)이 만들었고 마이크 채프먼(Mike Chapman)이 프로듀서를 맡았다. 홀리는 자신이 가장 좋아하는 노래 중의 한 곡이라고 말했다.

아무도 우릴 도와주러 오지 않을 것이니 어떤 행운이나 기적, 기계장치로서의 신 같은 걸 기다리지 말고, 맞서 싸우자고, 우린 무적이 될 거라고 말하고 있다.
