I Like The Way You Kiss Me는 키프로스계 UK 싱어송라이터 아르테마스(Artemas Diamandis, 19990923)가 2024년 발표한 싱글로 아일랜드 2위, UK 3위, 캐나다 6위, US 12위 등을 기록했다. 틱톡에서 바이럴 되면서 큰 반향을 얻었다. 

 

아르테마스와 제시 핑크(Jesse Fink), 케빈 화이트(Kevin White), 데이트리(Daintree) 등이 만들고 제시를 제외한 이들이 공동으로 프로듀서를 맡았다.

 

가사는 "Not tryna be romantic, I'll hit it from the back"가 가장 중요한 이야기인 것 같다. 서로를 바로보며 섹스하지 않고 뒤로 하며 교미, 혹은 섹스파트너의 느낌만 간직하는 것. 그러면서도 서로가 스트레스 주는 지를 살피고 한편으로는 자랑스러워하고 싶어하는 것. 아르테마스가 클래시뮤직 등 다수의 매체 한 인터뷰들을 조합하면 "현대 인간관계의 무뚝뚝한 시각을 반영하고 물리적 연결이 때로는 감정적 깊이를 어떻게 가릴 수 있는지를 강조하려고 했어요. 반로맨스 분위기라 볼 수 있는건데요. 감정적인 애착을 회피하면서 서로의 매력을 담아내는 스릴을 느끼는 거죠. 이런 신체적 상호 작용이 종종 일시적인 현대적 친밀감의 복잡성을 묘사하는 것 같아요"라고 말할 수 있을 것 같다.
