7days – Craig David / 2000

7 Days는 크레이그 데이빗(Craig David)이 2000년 발표한 데뷔 앨범 <Born To Do It>에 수록한 곡으로 영국 1위, 아일랜드 3위, 캐나다 9위, 미국 10위 등을 기록했다. 국내에서도 인기를 얻어 멜론 2002년 결산 팝 부문 4위를 차지했다. 브릿 어워드 베스트 싱글 부문 후보에 올랐으나 로비 윌리암스(Robbie Williams)의 Rock DJ가 받았다. 2003년 그래미 남성 팝 보컬 퍼포먼스 부문 후보에 올랐다.

크레이그와 마크 힐(Mark Hill), 데런 힐(Darren Hill)이 만들었고 마크가 프로듀서를 맡았다. 가사는 우연히 지나가던 여자가 시간을 물어 전화 번호를 받고 사귀게 되었다는 이야기를 하고 있다. 

 

뮤직비디오는 맥스 앤 다니아(Max & Dania)가 감독을 맡았고 브릿 어워드 베스트 뮤직 비디오 부문 후보에 올랐으나 역시 로비의 Rock DJ가 받았다. 반복된 실수 속에서 완벽한 결과를 찾아가는 과정을 그렸다.
