Accelerator – Primal Scream / 2000

Accelerator는 프라이멀 스크림(Primal Scream)이 2000년 발표한 6번째 스튜디오 앨범 <XTRMNTR>에 수록된 곡이다. NME 선정 2000년대 최고의 곡 70위, 역사상 최고의 곡 497위를 차지했다.

멤버들이 함께 만들고 프로듀서는 브랜던 린치(Brendan Lynch)와 공동으로 맡았다. 이런 시도 때문에 음악이 과거에 머물지 않고 새로움으로 한 걸음씩 나가는 게 아닐까 싶다. 가사는 자본주의에 관한 이야기인 것 같다.
