Lady - 모조(Modjo) / 2000

Lady (Hear Me Tonight)는 보컬 얀(Yann Destagnol)과 프로듀서 로메인(Romain Tranchart)으로 구성된 프랑스 하우스뮤직 듀오 모조(Modjo)가 2001년 발표한 유일한 셀프타이틀 앨범에 수록한 곡으로 UK 1위, 연말결산 16위, 아일랜드 1위, 캐나다 2위, 프랑스 7위, US 81위, 댄스 1위 등을 기록했다. 인사이더 선정 '살면서 들어봐야 할 102'에 올랐다. <Grand Theft Auto V> 게임에 사용되면서 긴 생명력을 유지하고 있다. US 뮤지션 오스틴 머혼(Austin Mahone)이 리메이크 했다. 

 

얀과 로메인 둘이 만들고 프로듀서도 맡았다. 나일 로저스(Nile Rodgers)와 버나드 에드워즈(Bernard Edwards)가 만든 시크(Chic)의 1982년 곡 Soup For One을 샘플링 했다. 어쿠스틱 버전을 싱글의 B면으로 사용했다. 뮤직비디오는 프랑소와 네메타(François Nemeta)가 감독을 맡았고 캐나다 퀘벡에서 촬영했다. 

 

가사는 클럽에서 급만남을 가진 뒤 "처음 사랑을 느꼈다"고 고백하는 내용인 것 같다.
