One Night In Heaven - M People / 1993

 

One Night In Heaven은 UK 유로댄스 그룹 엠피플(M People)이 1993년 발표한 2번째 스튜디오 앨범 <Elegant Slumming>에 수록한 곡으로 UK 6위, 아일랜드 12위, 캐나다 67위, US 클럽댄스 1위 등을 기록했다.   

 

마이크 피커링(Mike Pickering), 폴 허드(Paul Heard)가 만들고 보컬을 맡고 있는 헤더 스몰(Header Small)과 함께 공동으로 프로듀서를 맡았다. UK 보컬리스트 줄리엣 로버츠(Juliet Roberts)가 백업보컬로 참여했다. 뮤직비디오는 스페인 바르셀로나에서 촬영했고 퍼커션 주자 쇼벨(Shovell)이 참여했다. 

 

가사는 여러 이유로 관계가 멀어진 연인과 다시 함께 하고 싶다는, 특히 섹스를 하고 싶다는 내용인 것 같다.
