Playground In My Mind – Clint Holmes Feat. Philip Vance / 1973

Playground In My Mind는 영국 출신으로 미국 라스베가스에서 활동하던 가수 클린트 홈즈(Clint Holmes)가 1973년 발표한 곡으로 캐나다 1위, 미국 2위에 올랐다. 국내에서 이용복이 어린 시절이란 제목으로 번안해 불러 원곡보다도 더 큰 인기를 얻었다.

 

폴 밴스(Paul Vance)와 리 포크리스(Lee Pockriss)가 만들었고 프로듀서도 맡았다. 폴의 9살 된 아들 필립 밴스(Philip Vance)가 참여했다.  

 

가사는 세상살이가 힘들 때 행복했던 어린 시절을 회상하고 위안을 얻는다는 내용인 것 같다.
