Cross Over The Bridge – Patti Page / 1954

Cross Over The Bridge는 패티 페이지(Patti Page)가 1954년 발표한 곡으로 미국 2위까지 올랐다. 같은 해 두왑그룹 코즈(The Chords), 앤 쉘튼(Anne Shelton), 켄 맥킨토시(Ken MacKintosh) 등이 불렀고 영국에선 빌리 앤소니(Billie Anthony)와 토니 브렌트(Tony Brent)가 발표했다.

 

곡은 베니 벤자민(Bennie Benjamin)과 조지 데이빗 와이즈(George David Weiss)가 1945년 만든 곡으로 레이먼드 스캇(Raymond Scott)이 지휘를 하고 도로시 콜린스(Dorothy Collins)와 스누키 란센(Snooky Lansen)이 <Your Hit Parade>란 프로그램에서 주마다 불렀다.

 

가사는 바람둥이 남자를 계도하는 곡이다.
