Around The World - ATC / 2000

Around The World (La La La La La)는 독일 혼성 그룹 ATC(A Touch Of Class)가 2000년 발표한 데뷔 앨범 <Planet Pop>에 수록한 곡으로 독일 1위, 캐나다 10위, 영국 15위, 아일랜드 24위, 미국 28위 등을 기록했다. 2018년 네덜란드 DJ 리햅(R3hab)이 리믹스한 버전을 발표했다. 

 

러시아 테크노 밴드 루키 비에르흐(Руки Вверх)의 Pesenka를 리메이크한 곡으로 이 밴드의 멤버인 세르게이 쥬코프(Серге́й Евгеньевич Жуков)와 알렉세이 포테인(Алексей Евгеньевич Потехин)이 만들었고 ATC의 영어가사는 알렉스 크리스텐센(Alex Christensen)과 피터 코네맨(Peter Könemann)이 썼다. 프로듀서는 알렉스가 맡았다.

 

세계를 돌아다니며 다른 나라 말이라 가사는 모르지만 머릿속에서 계속 맴도는 노래를 만나 세계 어디서나 통하는 말인 ‘라라라라라’하며 흥얼거린다는 내용인 것 같다. 아이펠 65(Eiffel 65)의 Blue (Da Ba Dee) 느낌이 나는 것 같다.
