Sail Along, Silv'ry Moon은 US 악단의 지휘자이자 다중의 연주자인 빌리 본(Billy Vaughn, William Richard Vaughn 19190412 ~ 19910926)이 1957년 발표한 인스트루멘탈 곡으로 캐나다 1위, US 5위, 연말결산 6위 등을 기록했다.

 

빙 크로스비(Bing Crosby, 19030503 ~ 19771014)가 1937년 발표해 US 4위에 오른 곡으로 해리 토비아스(Harry Tobias)와 퍼시 웬리치(Percy Wenrich)가 만들었다.

원곡이 화자 혼자 달빛이 비추는 거리를 걸으며 그리움을 표현한 곡이라면 빌리의 버전은 두 사람이 만나 행복하게 달빛이 비추는 거리를 뛰듯 걷는 느낌이다.
