Shadow Dancing은 앤디 깁(Andy Gibb, 19580305 ~ 19880310)이 1978년 발표한 2번째 스튜디오 앨범의 타이틀곡으로 US 7주 1위, 연말결산 1위, 역대결산 49위(2018년 기준), 캐나다 1위, UK 42위 등을 기록했다.

 

앤디와 배리 깁(Barry Gibb), 모리스 깁(Maurice Gibb), 로빈 깁(Robin Gibb) 등이 만들고 배리와 알비 갈루텐(Albhy Galuten), 칼 리처드슨(Karl Richardson) 등이 프로듀서를 맡았다. 배리는 빌보드와의 인터뷰에서 “우리 형제 4명이서 함께 10분 만에 만들었어요”라고 말했다.

 

가사는 클럽에서 만난 매혹적인 연인에게 끌린다는 내용이다. “shadow dancing”은 벽에 그림자가 비추는 춤이다.
