I Think They Call This Love는 UK 싱어송라이터 엘리엇 제임스 리(Elliot James Reay)가 2024년 발표한 곡으로 틱톡, 쇼츠를 중심으로 바이럴 되어 크게 알려졌다. 커버 버전 중 매튜 필드(Matthew Field) 버전이 자주 보이는 것 같다. 

 

엘리엇과 애니엘 리시욱(Annielle Lisiuk), 글렌 로버츠(Glen Roberts) 등이 만들고, 글렌과 솝(SOAP) 팀이 프로듀서를 맡았다. 엘리엇은 뮤직터커스, 토탈 등과의 인터뷰에서 "엘비스 프레슬리(Elvis Presley), 로이 오비슨(Roy Orbison), 빌리 퓨리(Billy Fury) 등 시대를 초월한 뮤지션들에게서 영감을 받았습니다. 만드는 과정은 자연스럽고 재밌었어요. 이 음악은 1950~60년대의 음악에 대한 제 열정을 반영하고 있습니다. 빈티지 장비와 옛날 녹음 기술을 사용해 진정한 복고풍 느낌을 유지할 수 있도록 노력했거든요"라고 말했다.  

 

가사는 사랑에 빠져 상대외에는 아무것도 필요없는 마음을 노래하고 있다. 엘리엇은 "사랑에 빠졌다는 것을 깨닫는 보편적인 경험을 표현했습니다"라고 말했다.
