Another Sad Love Song - Toni Braxton / 1993

Another Sad Love Song은 토니 브랙스턴(Toni Braxton)이 1993년 발표한 셀프타이틀 데뷔 앨범에 수록한 곡으로 US 7위, R&B 2위, 연말결산 46위, UK 15위, 캐나다 16위 등을 기록했다. 그래미 R&B 보컬 퍼포먼스 부문을 수상했다. 

 

대럴 시몬스(Daryl Simmons), 베이비페이스(Babyface) 등이 만들고 두 사람과 L.A 레이드(L.A Reid)가 프로듀서를 맡았다. 뮤직비디오는 세 편이 제작되었고 첫 버전은 앙투안 푸쿠와(Antoine Fuqua)가 감독을 맡은 흑백필름, 두 번째는 앙투앙과 랄프 지먼(Ralph Ziman)이 감독을 맡은 컬러 버전, 세 번째는 두 버전을 합친 것으로 유럽 홍보용으로 사용되었다. 

 

가사는 화자의 미련을 표현하고 있다. 화자는 라디오에서 흘러나오는 모든 노래가 화자의 헤어진 애인을 생각나게 한다고 불평(?)한다.
