Not Enough Love In The World - Don Henley / 1984

Not Enough Love In The World은 US 록밴드 이글스(Eagles) 출신의 돈 헨리(Don Henley)가 1984년 발표한 두 번째 솔로 앨범 <Building The Perfect Beast>에 수록한 곡으로 US 34위, AC 6위, 캐나다 63위 등을 기록했다. 셰어(Cher)가 커버했다.

 

돈과 대니 코츠마(Danny Kortchmar), 벤몽트 텐치(Benmont Tench) 등이 만들고 돈과 대니가 프로듀서를 맡았다. 

 

가사는 1년 정도 사귀었던 플릿우드 맥(Fleetwood Mac)의 스티비 닉스(Stevie Nicks)에 관한 것이라는 소문이 있다. 순수하게 가사의 내용만 추측하면, 이제는 헤어져 같이 살던 동네를 떠나 다른 곳에 살고 있는 옛 연인에게 사귈 당시에 (아마도 미안한 감정으로) 상대를  향한 사랑이 부족했었다고 고백하는 내용인 것 같다.
