Don’t Fight It – Wilson Pickett / 1965

Don’t Fight It은 윌슨 피켓(Wilson Pickett)이 1965년 발표한 앨범 <In The Midnight Hour>에 수록된 곡으로 영국 29위, 미국 53위에 올랐다. 미국 R&B는 4위까지 올랐다. 국내에서 박일준이 아가씨란 제목으로 번안해 불렀다.

 

곡은 윌슨과 스티브 크라퍼(Steve Cropper)가 만들었고 프로듀서는 윌슨과 짐 스튜어트(Jim Stewart)가 맡았다.

 

클럽에서 약간의 시비가 붙은 상대(같이 갔는지, 처음 만났는지는 모르겠지만)와 썸을 타는 느낌의 곡이다.
