Two Is Better Than One - Boys Like Girls Feat. Taylor Swift / 2009

Two Is Better Than One은 보이즈 라이크 걸즈(Boys Like Girls)가 2009년 발표한 2번째 스튜디오 앨범 <Love Drunk>에 수록한 곡으로 US 18위, 연말결산 72위, 캐나다 18위 등을 기록했다.

 

마틴 존슨(Martin Johnson)과 게스트 보컬로 참여한 테일러 스위프트(Taylor Swift)가 만들고 브라이언 하위즈(Brian Howes)가 프로듀서를 맡았다. 뮤직비디오는 멜러트 에이비스(Meiert Avis)와 제리미 얼터(Jeremy Alter)가 감독을 맡았고 서바이버(Survivor)의 에릭 호프스만(Erik Huffman)이 출연했다.

 

마틴은 MTV와의 인터뷰에서 테일러의 참여에 대해 "팬들이 이 콜라보를 어떻게 반응할지 걱정은 안 했던 것 같아요. 우리는 테일러가 매우 다재다능한 예술가라고 생각해요. 그래서 그녀가 이 노래에 알맞은 목소리이고 적임자라고 생각했어요"라고 말했다.

 

(아마도) 이별 후에 좋았던 기억들을 떠올리며 역시 혼자보다는 둘이였을 때가 더 좋았다는 생각을 하는 것 같다.
