Hot Diggity는 US 배우이자 가수인 페리 코모(Pierino Ronald "Perry" Como, 19120518 ~ 20010512)가 1956년 발표한 곡으로 US 1위, 연말결산 16위, UK 4위 등을 기록했다. 다수의 매체에서 1950년대 최고의 곡들 중 한 곡으로 평가하고 있다.    

 

알 호프만(Al Hoffman)과 딕 매닝(Dick Manning)이 만들고 조 라이즈만(Joe Reisman)이 편곡을, 미첼 에이어스(Mitchell Ayres)가 연주를, 조 칼튼(Joe Carlton)이 프로듀서를 맡았다. 백업보컬은 레이 찰스 싱어즈(Ray Charles Singers)가 참여했다. 주요 멜로디는 프랑스 낭만주의 작곡가 에마뉘엘 샤브리에(Emmanuel Chabrier, 18410118 ~ 18940913)가 1883년 발표한 España에서 가져왔다. 

 

가사는 이제것 경험하지 못한 새로운 사랑의 방식에 신선함을 느끼고 상대와의 사랑에 행복하다는 내용이다.
