One Wish - Roxette / 2006

One Wish는 록시트(Roxette)가 2006년 발표한 4번째 히트곡 모음집 <A Collection Of Roxette Hits: Their 20 Greatest Songs!>에 수록한 곡으로 스웨덴 2위, 스페인 3위, 핀란드 5위 등을 기록했다.

 

팀의 남성 보컬인 페르 게슬(Per Gessle)이 만들었고 페르와 클레어런스 오프베르만(Clarence Öfwerman), 크리스토퍼 룬드퀴스트(Christoffer Lundquist)가 프로듀서를 맡았다. 2002년 팀의 여성 보컬인 마리 프레드릭손(Marie Fredriksson)이 뇌종양 진단을 받고 난 후에 처음 발표한 곡이다. 뮤직비디오는 요나스 애커룬트(Jonas Åkerlund)가 감독을 맡았고 과거 록시트의 클립들을 편집해 배경화면으로 사용했다.

 

다양한 시나리오를 상상할 수 있겠지만, 마리가 가장 아팠을 때 상상했을 극단적인 상황을 대입해보면, 하루만 더 소중한 사람과 같이 있고 싶은 마음을 표현한 것으로 여겨진다. "don't tell me ~" 부분 때문에 그렇게 느껴지는데... 하지만 일반적으로는 짝사랑의 감정이 떠오른다.
